The Sale Sharks have confirmed that Rob du Preez will return to the English club on a permanent deal after this year’s Vodacom Super Rugby tournament.
Du Preez, who currently plies his trade for the Durban-based Sharks, enjoyed an impressive off-season stint with Sale, before returning for Super Rugby.
The Sale Sharks tweeted on Monday to say that they looked forward to welcoming Du Preez back to the club and that he has signed until 2022.

Du Preez’s deal is expected to form part of a signing spree from Sale. It’s believed that twin brothers Jean-Luc and Dan du Preez could be signed on short-term deals too, while Sharks teammate Akker van der Merwe and Bok prop Steven Kitshoff have also been linked with the English club.
