All Blacks lock Brodie Retallick has returned to the Chiefs’ starting XV for their clash against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.
Retallick, who was on the bench for the shock 23-19 loss against the Jaguares, forms the second-row partnership with Michael Allardice, shifting Tyler Ardron to No 8.
Sam Cane will miss the match with an abdominal strain and his place at flank will again be filled by Luke Jacobson.
In the backline, both scrumhalf Brad Weber and centre Anton Lienert-Brown will start their 50th games for the Chiefs, while Johnny Faauli returns to partner Lienert-Brown in the midfield.
