The inclusion of Shaun Venter is the only change to the Cheetahs’ starting lineup for Saturday’s Pro14 derby against the Kings in Bloemfontein.

Venter replaces Tian Meyer at scrumhalf and also takes over the captaincy from him.

Meyer has been left out of the match 23 altogether, with Rudy Paige included on the bench to provide scrumhalf cover.

The other changes on the bench see loose forward Jasper Wiese come in for the suspended Justin Basson and Ernst Stapelberg taking over from the injured Louis Fouché.
