Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond had an altercation with a journalist outside the press room at Kingsholm after his side’s win over Gloucester on Saturday.
Diamond confronted Independent journalist Sam Peters about an article in September that was critical of the coach’s methods.
Diamond wanted to know why Peters had not asked any questions in the media briefing.
In a column for the Independent on Sunday, Peters wrote: ‘I knew Sale Sharks’ Steve Diamond was a bully – and now I know for sure.’
