Kings coach Deon Davids has made five changes to their starting XV to face Connacht in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.
There is one change to the backline, with four new faces in the forward pack from the team that narrowly lost to defending champions Leinster at the beginning of November.
Vice-captain Berton Klaasen returns to the lineup to partner with Harlon Klaasen in the midfield, replacing Tertius Kruger, who drops to the bench.
There is a new-look front row, including Alandre van Rooyen alongside props Lupumlo Mguca and Nicolaas Oosthuizen.
CJ Velleman earns another start at openside flank, while Jurie van Vuuren will make his first appearance of the season on the blindside.
Former Junior Boks prop, Alulutho Tshakweni, the most recent Kings recruit, is set for his Pro14 debut from the bench.
