World Rugby has been made aware of the video in which Bok coach Rassie Erasmus shows André Esterhuizen how he should be tackling following the Owen Farrell incident.
After referee Angus Gardner failed to penalise Farrell for his controversial tackle on Esterhuizen in the 84th minute of the Test at Twickenham on Saturday, Erasmus sarcastically implied at the post-match press conference that his team would start doing the same.

‘We should start tackling like that and execute it like that. Nothing upset me about the tackle, we just have to latch on that if it is legal. It is effective. To tackle a guy like André and stop him in his tracks is unbelievable,’ he said.
True to his word, Erasmus and defence coach Jacques Nienaber were filmed showing Esterhuizen how to execute a similar tackle to the one Farrell made. The video has gone viral, with many lauding Erasmus for his sense of humour.
When asked by Sport24 if Erasmus faces punishment for his earlier comments and the video, World Rugby’s head of communications Dominic Rumbles declined to comment.
‘Needless to say, we will not be commenting on the video. I’m not commenting on this.’
World Rugby has also refused to clarify whether Farrell’s tackle was legal.
