Blitzboks star Rosko Specman has signed a two-year contract with the Bulls until the end of the 2020 season.
The 29-year-old previously played fifteens for the Cheetahs, Pumas and Sharks, but made a name for himself in sevens when he played for the Blitzboks on the Sevens Series circuit.
According to Rapport newspaper, Specman, who has made over 130 appearances for the Blitzboks, will only join the Bulls’ ranks in January 2019 and is believed to be available for selection for the Dubai and Cape Town Sevens later this year.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow Blitzboks Kwagga Smith (Lions), Ruhan Nel (Western Province) and Dylan Sage (Bulls), who all gave up sevens to play fifteens on a full-time basis.
