Figallo returns for Argentina

Prop Juan Figallo will play his first Test in three years when Argentina face the Springboks in Durban on Saturday.

The Saracens tighthead, who was ineligible due to playing overseas, has been granted special dispensation to start for Argentina on request from new coach Mario Ledesma.

Figallo will add his experience to a strong front row featuring captain Augustin Creevy and loosehead Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro.

Among the backs, wing Bautista Delguy and centre Bautista Ezcurra will make their Rugby Championship debuts after playing for Argentina in the June internationals.

Hooker Diego Fortuny, tighthead prop Santiago Medrano and replacement back Juan Cruz Mallia will also make tournament debuts should they come off the bench.

Argentina – 15 Emiliano Boffelli, 14 Bautista Delguy, 13 Matías Moroni, 12 Bautista Ezcurra, 11 Ramiro Moyano, 10 Nicolás Sanchez, 9 Gonzalo Bertanou, 8 Javier Ortego Desio, 7 Marcos Kremer, 6 Pablo Matera, 5 Matías Alemanno, 4 Guido Petti, 3 Juan Figallo, 2 Augustin Creevy, 1 Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro.
Subs: 16 Diego Fortuny, 17 Santiago Garcia Botta, 18 Santiago Medrano, 19 Tomás Lavanini, 20 Tomás Lezana, 21 Martín Landajo, 22 Santiago González Iglesias, 23 Juan Cruz Mallia.
