The Brumbies scored eight tries to thrash the Rebels 50-19 in a Super Rugby warm-up match in Queanbeyan on Saturday.
The game was played in three 30-minute periods, with both teams opting for a balance between experience and youth in their starting lineups.

Both teams made bulk substitutions during the final two thirds, but the Brumbies’ momentum remained unaffected as they added a further five tries, including a brace from hooker Robbie Abel.
The Rebels responded in the final third with consolation tries from wing Henry Hutchinson and centre Sione Tuipolotu.
