Western Province will travel to France for two warm-up games as part of their preparations for their Currie Cup title defence.
John Dobson’s team will face second-division side Narbonne before taking on giants Montpellier in the space of five days, in order to get some crucial game time before their domestic campaign kicks off on 25 August.
Province were invited by Montpellier, with the trip being viewed as the start of a commercially beneficial relationship between the teams.
A 29-man squad will depart Cape Town next Tuesday and face Narbonne on Saturday, 11 August before taking on Montpellier on Thursday, 16 August.
The squad for the tour will be announced on Monday.
