Sharks scrumhalf Louis Schreuder will be out for ‘a while’ after injuring his hamstring in Saturday’s pre-season game against the Bulls.
Schreuder, who came on for the second half of the match in Polokwane, was seen leaving the stadium on crutches.
Sharks coach Robert du Preez said he was happy with the Sharks’ win, but ‘disappointed’ with Schreuder’s injury.
It has not been confirmed how long the 27-year-old will be out for, with Du Preez saying ‘he will be out for a while’.
‘You need No 9s with the experience of Louis. We hope he will be all right and come back soon,’ Du Preez said.
