Nick Mallett is set to resume his SuperSport studio duties during this weekend’s Super Rugby action.

Last Saturday, Naas Botha made his return to the panel following the on-air incident involving Ashwin Willemse on 19 May, and Mallett is now set to follow suit.

It will be his first appearance since Willemse walked off the SuperSport set during a live discussion, alleging that Botha and Mallett had ‘undermined’ and ‘patronised’ him.

On Tuesday, Willemse broke his silence when he insisted that his walk-off was based on the belief that the incident was rooted in racism.

Saturday’s Super Rugby will include the Lions-Bulls derby at 3:05pm, followed by the Sharks hosting the Jaguares at 5:15pm.
