All Blacks loose forward Liam Messam is set to replace Duane Vermeulen at Toulon after reportedly signing a two-year contract with the French club.
The 33-year-old Messam will head to France at the end of the Chiefs’ 2018 Super Rugby campaign to bolster Toulon’s loose forward stocks following the news of Vermeulen’s exit.
Messam played 43 Tests for the All Blacks between 2008 and 2015 and has made 130 Super Rugby appearances for the Chiefs.
