Talented young South Africans Keynan Knox and Matt More have both joined Munster’s junior ranks.
Knox, a hulking 118kg front rower, starred for KwaZulu-Natal at the U18 Craven Week last year, while serving as the 1st XV captain of Michaelhouse.
He has been joined at the Munster Academy by More, who can play at centre or fullback, and caught the eye of the Irish club after excelling for St Andrew’s College in 2017.
Although the duo are not contracted to Munster’s full senior squad, they could potentially be able to complete a three-year residency period before World Rugby’s eligibility regulation changes to five years at the end of 2020.
