Justin van Staden will start at flyhalf in the only change to the Pumas side to face the Blue Bulls in Nelspruit on Friday.
Van Staden came off the bench to good effect during the defeat to Western Province, where JC Roos was favoured in the flyhalf berth from the start. Roos seems to have paid for his off-key performance, where he struggled with the boot and in open play before being replaced at half-time.
He misses out on selection altogether for this weekend's must-win match, with Coenie van Wyk returning on the bench.
'Justin had an excellent half when he came on, he really helped to get us back in the game [against Western Province],' said coach Jimmy Stonehouse. 'Coenie will also offer us a playmaking option from the bench, so I'm happy with the balance going into this one.'
