Rory Kockott was named Man of the Match as Castres beat Oyonnax 27-18 in the Top 14 at Stade Pierre Antoine.
The former Sharks scrumhalf, who was recently included in a 74-man France squad, scored a great try as he collected his own chip ahead, and kicked a conversion and five penalties (two late in the game) for a personal haul of 22 points.
The win took Castres out of the relegation zone.
In other results, Clermont returned to the top of the Top 14 standings with a 43-12 victory against Lyon, Grenoble maintained their unbeaten home record as they beat Bayonne 24-15, Bordeaux-Bègles came from behind to snatch a last-gasp 29-26 win at La Rochelle (despite playing for eight minutes with 13 men) to rocket up into the top four, while champions Toulon thrashed Brive 53-13 to move into second place.
