Deon Stegmann and Bongi Mbonambi have been cited following their team's 28-13 win over the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth on Friday.

Captain Stegmann received a red card for striking Kings lock Darron Nell in the face with his elbow at a ruck in the 69th minute, which is a breach of Law 10.4 (a).

Mbonambi saw yellow earlier in the match after charging into a ruck dangerously, contravening Law 10.4 (h), which states that 'a player must not charge into a ruck or maul without use of the arms, or without grasping a player'.

At a disciplinary hearing last week, Western Province loose forward Rynhardt Elstadt was handed down a three-week suspension for a similar offence.

The players will appear before a Saru disciplinary committee on Tuesday.
