Blue Bulls lock RG Snyman is set to miss Saturday's final against the Cheetahs after suffering an eye-socket injury.

According to SuperSport.com, Snyman will undergo scans on Monday to determine the severity of a suspected fractured eye socket, but the Bulls have apparently resigned themselves to the fact the star lock won't be available.

However, scrumhalf Piet van Zyl is expected to return to the match 23 after missing last Saturday's semi-final due to a concussion.
