The Springboks have dropped to fourth in the World Rugby rankings following their humiliating 57-15 loss to the All Blacks in Durban.

The Boks conceded nine tries against the rampant New Zealanders in the most one-sided Test between the two nations yet, and the win saw the All Blacks equal the record for most successive Test victories (17).

The 42-point drubbing cost South Africa 0.27 of a ratings point from 85.12 to 84.85, which sees them drop from third to fourth in the rankings below the Wallabies.

Steve Hansen's All Blacks gained 0.27 of a ratings point to increase their lead at the top of the list.

Australia received a 0.62 ratings point boost – from 84.71 to 85.33 – after they beat Argentina 33-21 in the first Rugby Championship Test played in the northern hemisphere. But despite the Wallabies climbing to third, they still trail the second-placed England by 4.16 ranking points.

The result at Twickenham decreased Los Pumas' rating by 0.62 of a point, which relegated them two positions from seventh to ninth, below France and Scotland.
