Oupa Mohoje will be sidelined for at least three months after sustaining a knee injury while training with the Blitzboks.

Mohoje told Netwerk24 that Blitzboks coach Neil Powell wanted him to play for the Sevens Academy team in Dubai from 4 to 5 December, before injury ruled him out. 

The 25-year-old will now also sit out the Cheetahs' pre-season training ahead of the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby campaign. It is uncertain whether he'll be ready for their opening game against the Jaguars on 26 February in Bloemfontein.
