Jake White has ruled himself out of the running for the England coaching job.
A week ago, White said he would put his hand up for the position if the RFU thought he was the right guy. He later added that he believed he could win the World Cup with England.
However, the RFU has since opted for Eddie Jones as their preferred candidate, with the Australian set to leave his post as Stormers coach just a week after arriving in Cape Town.
'I have a contract with Montpellier. I'm not going to change, I'm staying here,' said White on Thursday. 'It's important for the club, for the players and for the atmosphere to remove the doubt.'
White had applied for the England job on two previous occasions, losing out to Martin Johnson in 2008 and Stuart Lancaster in 2012.
