Chris Cloete will miss South Africa A's first match against the French Barbarians at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on 16 June.
The Kings flank received a third yellow card of the Super Rugby season during Sunday's match against the Lions and has been suspended up to and including Saturday, 17 June.
'The Foul Play Review Committee conducted a detailed review of all the available evidence on all three incidents, including video clips and referee reports,' said committee chairman Nigel Hampton.
'With respect to sanction, the Foul Play Review Committee deemed that a one-week sanction was appropriate as all three yellow card offences were for foul-play offences.'
Cloete will be available for SA A's second match at Orlando Stadium.
