James Horwill will start at No 4 lock for the Wallabies against France in Paris on Saturday.
The 29-year-old replaces Sam Carter in the only change to the team that beat Wales 33-28 in Cardiff. Horwill impressed after coming off the bench in the 67th minute, having also played well against the Barbarians at Twickenham.
Coach Michael Cheika has delayed naming his reserves until after the final training session as players compete for selection.
Wallabies prop Sekope Kepu will play his 50th Test on Saturday.
