Several Hurricanes players breached curfew while in South Africa and could miss Saturday's match against the Reds.
The breach happened after the Hurricanes' 50-17 win over the Lions in Johannesburg.
'The matter has been dealt with internally and Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd will be happy to discuss it further at Thursday’s scheduled media session once the team to play the Reds in Wellington on Saturday has been named,' a statement from the Hurricanes read.
Although no names have been mentioned, assistant coach Jason Holland admits the players might be dropped from the team.
'We’ll wait until we see where we are before we talk about who it is. If dropping players is the decision we come to, it will be pretty obvious,' Holland said. 'We set high standards around our protocols and if there are any minor indiscretions there will be consequences. We didn’t get our preparation 100% right, and if there’s anything that affects our preparation then we have to deal with it.'
