Injured Bulls and Bok loose forward Arno Botha may not be recognised by many after cutting his long, blonde hair.

Botha, who was ruled out for six months after tearing knee ligaments in the Bulls' pre-season friendly against the Stormers, shared these pictures of himself on Twitter.

'Before and after #haircut #feelsgood @MrMbonambi2 @JJ_Engelbrecht @Bragmbos', he tweeted.

Botha later indicated that he might return to the playing field soon.

'Knee is feeling great and it feels good to jog again. #comeback #roadtorecovery #healed,' he said.
