Vodacom Bulls backline coach Pieter Rossouw will leave the union at the end of the season.
Rossouw has spent the best part of eight years in Pretoria, but has told SuperSport.com that this season will be his last. With his children heading into high school next year, Rossouw has decided to return to Cape Town.
Rossouw joined the Bulls in 2008 and helped guide them to back-to-back Super Rugby titles in 2009 and 2010, as well as the Currie Cup triumph in 2009.
'I have had an amazing time here at the Bulls,' Rossouw told SuperSport.com. 'I have really come to love Pretoria, its places and people. I want to thank the Blue Bulls Company for the opportunity, for the fact they employed me for eight years, and paid my salary.
'I am thankful for the opportunity to have coached here, and learned so much while I coached. It’s been eight wonderful years in Pretoria.'
Rossouw has made mention of his desire to return to the business world, although he remains open to a return to coaching in Cape Town. His contract ends at the conclusion of the Currie Cup and he will continue to coach with the Bulls until then.
'Hopefully we can still end the Super Rugby season on a high and have a great season ahead.'
