Paarl Boys' High maintained their unbeaten record this season with a 21-19 win against Grey College in Bloemfontein.
Boishaai have won all 10 of their matches so far in 2015, while Grey Bloem have now suffered two consecutive defeats, following their 17-7 loss to Monument on Monday.
The visitors dominated the breakdown and set pieces on Saturday, with Man of the Match, lock Salman Moeraat, and his second-row partner Reuben de Villiers stealing six of Grey's 14 lineouts.
Boishaai scored the only try of the first half, through winger Tyreeq February, but three penalties from winger Dawid Snyman gave Grey a 9-5 lead at the break.
The second half was an intense affair, with Boishaai having the vast majority of the possession and territory early on.
Fullback Jean-Luc Cilliers slotted three penalties, including a massive 50m effort, to give his side a 14-9 lead.
The teams then exchanged tries, with replacement scrumhalf Ruan Kruger going over for Grey and centre Manual Rass dotting down in the corner for Boishaai.
The final try came from Grey replacement hooker Matthew Wessels, but Snyman’s conversion went well wide, keeping the Cape side in the lead with four minutes remaining.
The game ended as such, with Boishaai celebrating wildly at the final whistle.
