Fred Zeilinga has been ruled out of the remainder of the Sharks tour with a hamstring injury.

Jaco van Tonder will replace the flyhalf in the squad, while Tim Swiel should return to the bench for the Sharks' match against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday. Frans Steyn wore the No 10 jersey in Melbourne last Friday and is expected to keep it.

This follows the news on Monday that Sharks flank Marcell Coetzee would return home following a tour-ending shoulder injury suffered against the Rebels. Jacques Botes has been drafted in as a replacement.
