Crusaders fullback Israel Dagg has been ruled out for six weeks, because of a knee injury that will require a small operation.

Dagg sustained the injury during the Saders' 22-20 win over the Reds in Brisbane last weekend.

If his recovery goes according to plan, he could be available to play in the round 10 match against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on 30 April.
