Santiago Cordero will miss the first part of the Jaguares' tour of New Zealand and Japan.

The winger was involved in a car accident on a wet road after their loss to the Stormers on Saturday night, and sustained cuts and bruises.

'I was on my way back home, it was raining a bit and suddenly I lost control of the car,' Cordero said. 'Luckily it was just a fright and I'm OK.'

While Ramiro Moyano has taken his place on tour, Cordero will join the team for the second match.
