The Northampton Saints beat Saracens 20-15 on Saturday, while there were also Premiership wins for Worcester, Sale, Gloucester, Bath and Leicester.
Saracens scrumhalf Ben Spencer opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a successful penalty attempt. He doubled their score on the half-hour mark before Saints hit back when flyhalf Stephen Myler converted his own try in the 34th minute.
Sarries fullback Alex Goode put the hosts back in front two minutes later, having taken over the kicking duties with Spencer in the sin bin.
Sarries led 9-7 at the break, but Saints went in front early in the second half when scrumhalf Lee Dickson scored a converted try in the 43rd minute.
Myler and Spencer then traded penalties as Saints maintained their five-point lead to win the match.
Elsewhere on Saturday, the Sale Sharks remained unbeaten at home this season by defeating Harlequins 29-23 after trailing 13-9 at half-time, Gloucester ended Wasps’ winning run with a 13-10 victory at Kingsholm Stadium, while Matt Banahan scored two first-half tries as Bath beat London Irish 25-17 at the Recreation Ground.
On Sunday, the Leicester Tigers held on to beat Exeter Chiefs 31-27 at Welford Road after racing to a 31-6 lead after 49 minutes.
On Friday, the Worcester Warriors scored two tries to beat the Newcastle Falcons 15-14 at Kingston Park after leading 7-6 at the break.
