Pat Lambie won his flyhalf battle against Quade Cooper at Kings Park, says MARK KEOHANE.
Lambie's goal-kicking was outstanding in a first half in which he kicked five penalties and a conversion and he punished the Reds ill-discipline.
Cooper was playing to instruction in the first half in looking for territory, and the flow of the game and humid match conditions never allowed for Cooper's natural game to be influential in determining the result.
Lambie, like Cooper, made mistakes but on the balance of influence in determining who won the game the duel was won by Lambie.
