Captain Francois Venter has been included as one of five personnel changes to the Cheetahs' starting XV for Saturday's clash against the Stormers in Bloemfontein.
Coach Franco Smith has made two changes in the backline, where Venter starts at outside centre in place of William Small-Smith and Tian Meyer takes over from the injured Shaun Venter at scrumhalf.
In the pack, No 8 Niell Jordaan is elevated to the run-on side, with Oupa Mohoje set to be eased back into action off the bench following the concussion he suffered in the Boks' second Test against France. Reniel Hugo will play No 5 lock and Elandre Huggett will play hooker in the absence of the injured Torsten van Jaarsveld.
