Springbok JP Pietersen is set to leave the Leicester Tigers after just one season at the club after signing a two-year deal with French giants Toulon.
Top 14 runners-up Toulon confirmed on Tuesday that Pietersen will join the club until June 2019.
The 70-test cap Bok winger joined Leicester last year and made 14 starts and one appearance from the bench in the 2016-17 campaign, while scoring three tries.
'We are grateful for the contribution that JP Pietersen has made in his time here,' Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen commented.
'His departure allows [head coach] Matt O'Connor a sum within the salary cap for next year, and the year after, to sign players that fit his vision for the squad and match his playing philosophy for the Tigers.'
