Coenie Oosthuizen will join the Springboks in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday to provide extra front-row cover.

This follows the withdrawal of prop Trevor Nyakane, who is struggling with an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old Oosthuizen has earned 23 Test caps and recently played for South Africa A against the England Saxons.

The Springboks have a training-free day on Wednesday.
