Ireland flank CJ Stander has been suspended for one week after his collision with Pat Lambie at Newlands.
Stander's hearing, led by judicial officer Terry Willis, breached the nine-hour mark and was spread over two days before a verdict was reached.
The South African-born flank knocked out the Bok flyhalf in the 23rd minute of the Test after clattering into him in an attempt to charge down a kick. Stander was subsequently red-carded.
The sanction rules Stander out of the second Test at Ellis Park, but he will be available for selection for the third Test in Port Elizabeth.
