The veteran lock was the official Man of the Match at Newlands. He scored a try, made an impact in the set pieces and was his usual physical self in open play.
WILLIE LE ROUX
The fullback may not have received many attacking opportunities, but took good options when he did run at the defence. His performance under the high ball was outstanding.
CHRIS ROBSHAW
The England captain had an excellent match with ball in hand, and set the tone when his early break resulted in a penalty goal for Freddie Burns.
MICHAEL HOOPER
The Wallabies openside flank impressed with ball in hand (scoring a good try from 25m out), on defence and at the breakdown.
