Lwazi Mvovo will start at fullback, with Curwin Bosch playing off the bench when the Sharks host the Lions this Saturday.
In several changes to the Sharks side that lost to the Bulls at the end of June, Mvovo returns to the starting lineup at fullback, while fit-again Kobus van Wyk comes in on the right wing.
Star centre Lukhanyo Am is also available and will start alongside André Esterhuizen in the midfield.
In the loose trio, Jean-Luc du Preez also returns to take up his place at blindside flank, while Chiliboy Ralepelle and Thomas du Toit will start in the front row, with Beast Mtawarira unavailable due to a neck strain.
