Kings hooker Edgar Marutlulle will join the Blue Bulls for their Currie Cup Premier Division campaign.
Marutlulle was a star performer for a struggling Kings team in this year's Super Rugby tournament, earning selection for the South Africa A side.
'Edgar has been one of the standout hookers this year and I am very pleased that he will be joining us,' said Bulls high-performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg. 'With Adriaan Strauss on Bok duty in the next couple of months, it was important for us to add to our depth with a high-quality hooker and Edgar is exactly that. We have Jaco Visagie and Bandise Maku in the squad and Edgar will add some healthy competition and depth.'
The Bulls also announced the return to Loftus Versfeld of former Junior Boks and Bulls age-group flanker, Shaun Adendorff, at the end of the season. He is currently playing for Boland in the Currie Cup Qualifiers.
