Monde Hadebe has received a four-year ban for taking steroids.

Khalid Galant, chief executive officer for the SA Institute for Drug-Free Sport, told Sport24 that the 25-year-old tested positive for two forbidden forms of steroid.

Another two players, whose names are known to SARugbymag.co.za, also failed doping tests. They can decide whether or not they will have their B samples tested and contest the findings. If they opt not to, they will also receive four-year bans.
