Oli Kebble, Frans Malherbe, Dan du Plessis and Nizaam Carr are all available for the Stormers’ quarter-final against the Chiefs at Newlands this Saturday.

The four players have overcome various injuries, with coach Robbie Fleck having the fortune of picking from a full squad that is only missing Jean-Luc du Plessis (ankle injury).

Scott van Breda is the one other player who is unavailable because he hasn’t played the four necessary games to be eligible, but the Stormers are waiting on feedback from Sanzaar to see if there might be any special dispensation.

Sanzaar has already given clearance for Jaco Taute, Rob du Preez, Jean Kleyn and Du Plessis to play despite having featured fewer than four times this season.

The four players were part of the original squad forwarded to Sanzaar at the start of the season, and therefore can be considered for the playoffs.
