The USA beat Canada 52-16 in their second leg World Cup qualifier in San Diego on Saturday.
The match was John Mitchell's last as Eagles coach before he joins the Bulls as their executive of rugby.
The first leg in Ontario was drawn 28-28, but the USA were far too good in the second, scoring eight tries.
It was a fitting send-off for captain Todd Clever, who had announced his retirement from Test rugby.
The Eagles will go into Pool C with England, Argentina, France and Oceanic 2, while Canada will have another chance to qualify against Uruguay.
