The Sharks have confirmed that hooker Kyle Cooper and centre Paul Jordaan will be heading overseas after this Super Rugby season.

Cooper will be joining the Newcastle Falcons, while Jordaan is set to join French Top 14 side Stade Rochelais.

Director of rugby Gary Gold said the two players had decided that the time was right to experience a new playing culture in a different country.

'They both have made significant contributions to the Sharks over the last few years and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them, as well as their families, the very best for this new journey.'
