Springbok wing Cornal Hendricks has extended his contract with the Cheetahs until the end of the 2015 season.
Hendricks' contract with the Free State Rugby union was set to expire in October this year, and there were rumours that both the Bulls and Western Province were keen on securing his services in 2015. But according to Die Burger, the wing has agreed to stay on at the central franchise for at least another season.
Meanwhile, the Cheetahs also announced the signing of Lions loose forward Willie Britz, who has previously played for Free State at junior level and in the Vodacom Cup.
Britz, who played off the bench for most of the 2014 Super Rugby season, will fill the void at the Cheetahs left by the departing Lappies Labuschagne and Philip van der Walt.
