Gerbrandt Grobler scored a try as Racing 92 beat the Leicester Tigers 34-3 at Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir on Saturday.
The former Stormers and Western Province lock joined the French club ahead of the 2016-17 season on a three-year deal.
Grobler's try came at the end of the first half when he powered over from a 5m scrum to give the hosts a 22-3 lead.
A penalty try after the break then ended the game as a contest.
It was Racing's first win in five matches in this season's European Champions Cup. They remain bottom in Pool 1, which also includes Munster and Glasgow.
