Lions coach Johan Ackermann has selected several players who were rested for last week's warm-up matches for their clash against the Kings on Saturday.

Julian Redelinghuys, Franco van der Merwe, Jaco Kriel, Warren Whiteley, Michael Bondesio, Marnitz Boshoff and Andries Coetzee will all start in PE having missed the Lions' games against the Leopards and Pukke.

Lionel Mapoe will wear the No 13 jersey with JW Jonker moving to the bench, while Chrysander Botha is on the right wing.

Hooker Willie Wepener is also promoted to the starting XV as Robbie Coetzee provides cover on the bench.

The match will kick off at 5pm and is not being televised.

Meanwhile, the Golden Lions have named their team to play the Bulls in the first match in Polokwane on Saturday. The Bulls play the Stormers in the second game.
