Scotland leapfrog Boks in rankings

Scotland have replaced South Africa in the top five of the World Rugby rankings, following their 29-13 win over Wales in Edinburgh on Saturday.

Scotland's first victory over Wales in 10 years earned them a 1.28 rankings points increase, elevating them to fifth in rankings, their highest-ever position on the list.

The Scots’ three-place jump from eight to fifth relegates Allister Coetzee’s Springboks to sixth, while Wales and France, who lost to Ireland, drop to seventh and eighth respectively.
