Stormers flank Johan du Toit will captain an Invitation XV made up of players from around the country in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The Invitational side, coached by former Springboks Ricardo Loubscher and Daan Human, consists of players from the Bulls, Stormers, Lions and Sharks, supplemented by a number of Varsity Cup stars and locals from the Cheetahs.

The selected players gathered in Bloemfontein on Wednesday and Thursday and worked with Loubscher, a former Springbok assistant coach, and Human, who is currently involved with the Springbok management.

The aim of this game is to give quality players on the fringes of their respective SA franchise teams game time, while the Cheetahs get to prepare against top opposition for the forthcoming Currie Cup.

Jaco Peyper is the referee for the match and he will be assisted by Paul Mente and Mpho Matsaung, while Ben Crouse is the TMO.
