Which Bok heavies tamed the Lions most effectively?

In the first part of a new series, we ask you to rate which front rowers from the last two series against the British & Irish Lions were the most valuable to the Bok cause.

Since the advent of professionalism, the Lions have toured South Africa on two occasions: in 1997 and 2009.

The Lions edged the 1997 series 2-1, while the Springboks returned the favour with a famous 2-1 series victory of their own 12 years ago.

As the 2021 Lions series looms on the horizon, take a look back at some of the prominent names who featured in the front row during those two series.

Below you can cast your vote for who you felt was most influential against the Lions:

*Part two of the series will look at members of the second row
