Francois Brummer will start at flyhalf for the Bulls against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.
With the injured Handré Pollard having been ruled out of the entire Super Rugby season, Bulls coach Nollis Marais faced a difficult selection choice but ultimately opted for Brummer at 10, with Tian Schoeman on the bench.
Fullback Warrick Gelant, flanks Nic de Jager and Jannes Kirsten, and lock RG Snyman will make their Super Rugby debuts this weekend, with prop Lizo Gqoboka and lock Jason Jenkins set to do so off the bench.
'I have faith in this group,' said Marais. 'Yes, we have some injuries, but that is part of the rugby landscape. I back this team to go down to Cape Town and do us proud.'
The Bulls have lost six of their last eight matches against the Stormers and last won in Cape Town in 2011.
